- 영어: Belize Barrier Reef
- 같은 말로는 벨리즈 산호초 보호지역
- 벨리즈에 있는 세계 제 2위 규모의 산호초
- 보호 구역은 963km²이다. 그 중에서 암초 자체는 1,600마일(2,600km) 이상 뻗어 있다.
- 해당 지역는 신생대 초기에서 중기까지 5,800만년에서 4,800만년 전 산호 해분지가 형성되면서 등장
- 지금도 산호초는 활동 중이고 육지으로 만들어질 가능성이 높다.
- 연간 약 2백만명이 방문하며 기후 변화, 오염, 해당 국가의 정치인들의 부정부패, 안일함, 이기주의 인해 서서히 파괴 중이다.
- 처음 등장한 것은 Windows 98 바탕화면 테마에서이다.
- 2009년 9월에 마이크로소프트 빙 웰페이퍼에서 재등장했다.
