역사
- 원래는 델라웨어 방파제에 있는 등대(Delaware Breakwater Range Rear Light)를 보조할 목적으로 1885년에 건설되었지만 사건사고로 1918년에 폐쇄
- 폐쇄된 등대를 1927년에 해당 장소에서 재설치했지만 1932년까지 방치하다가 어려가지 이유로 활성화
- 1956년에 등대는 무인 자동화
- 2014년 해안경비대에 의해 해체되었다가 등대는 2017년에 예전의 영광을 되찾았고 2018년에 다시 켜졌다고 한다.
- 등대 부지와 선물가계외 박물관은 계절에 따라 방문객에게 개방
