- 하기르신이라는 뜻은 아르메니아어로 "독수리가 춤추는 곳" 말한다.
- 아르메니아 타부시 지방의 딜리잔 마을 근처에 위치한 13세기 수도원
- 먼저 건설된 것은 성 그레고리 교회가 서기 10세기에 건설되었고 성 스테파노스 교회가 1244년에 건설되엇고 그 옆의 식당이 1248년에 건설
- 마지막으로 건설된 것이 성 아스트밧삿신 교회(=성모 마리아 교회)가 1281년 건축
- 고샤반크 수도원, 딜리잔 국립공원, 위에 언급한 하기르신 수도원 함께 유네스코 문화유산에 등재될 예정
- 대대적인 개조 및 보수 작업은 2011년
- 대한민국에서 처음 언급된 CPBC 환희의 신비에서 등장했다.
