역사
- 교각을 건설하려는 시도는 1762년까지 거슬러 올랐지만 홍수, 부실 공사 등으로 자주 무너졌다.
- 현재의 다리는 1864년경에 완공
- 참나무보다 강한 나무인 튼튼한 붉은 가문비나무로 만들어졌으며 나무못을 사용하여 제자리에 고정
- 1968년과 1973년에 다리가 현대화되어 다리가 교통량을 처리가 가능해졌다.
- 1975년에 국가 사적지로 등록
